NORCROSS, GA, November 5, 2014—Once again Georgia voters proved their commitment to being pro-life by electing 76 of the 77 candidates endorsed by Georgia Right to Life PAC (GRTL PAC).
“That’s a 98.7% success rate,” said GRTL PAC Director Melanie Crozier. “I am thankful that so many voters were willing to voice their support for the sanctity of all innocent human life.”
GRTL looks forward to working again with Governor Nathan Deal in passing legislation that protects women, the pre-born, the elderly, infirm and those different abilities.
Georgia Right to Life is also excited about the four GRTL PAC endorsed freshmen congressmen headed to Washington who are expected to take leadership on sanctity of life issues.
GRTL PAC maintains it’s principled criteria by only endorsing candidates who promise to adhere to the standard of protecting all life, regardless of gender, manner of conception, race, or other exceptions in any abortion-related legislation.
GRTL has the utmost sympathy for victims of rape or incest and believes that perpetrators should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
However, in our society we do not punish children for the crimes of their parents. The preborn child should not be given a death sentence because of the actions of her father.
“Every child, even those conceived in rape or incest, is entitled to the right to life,” Crozier said. “GRTL will never compromise on that position.”
Georgia Right to Life promotes respect and effective legal protection for all innocent human life from earliest biological beginning through natural death. GRTL is one of a number of organizations that have adopted Personhood as the most effective pro-life strategy for the 21st century.
