STATE CAPITOL INFORMATION

Where: Capitol Square between MLK Drive, Mitchell and Washington Streets, and Capitol Avenue.

Parking: Public parking is located at 90 Central Avenue, the Sloppy Floyd State Office Building on MLK at Butler Street, Underground Atlanta, the Liberty Plaza parking lot, & the State Archives Building on Capitol Avenue. Spaces are scarce so taking MARTA to the Georgia State University train station on the East Line and walking maybe easier.

Hours: Daily from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Public seating in House and Senate galleries. Messages can be sent to members in chambers via Capitol pages.

Legislators’ Offices: Capitol Building and Legislative Office Building, across Mitchell Street from the Capitol.
